Rotational molding is a manufacturing process of thermoplastic materials that provides obtaining hollow materials of shape and size.
It is a transformation technology that differs from the most common injection molding, blowing, etc. processes. It is particularly suitable for the production in small series of even complex articles of large objects and internally empty articles which cannot be obtained otherwise. The procedure is typically born for the production of containers, taking advantage of the possibility of immediately obtaining hollow products without subsequent welding and assembly phases.
The applications have multiplied also thanks to the continuous evolution of the research applied to the polymers carried out in the process: polyethylene (LLDPE, LDPE, LHDPE, HDPE), cross-linked polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polycarbonate, etc.

Eurotank manufactures polyethylene, polypropylene and cross-linked products for third parties. It works with planetary system systems.
Eurotank Nord manufactures products for the following sectors: agriculture, fire prevention, furniture, automotive, ecology, industry, boating, sports, telecommunications, water treatment.
Some of our products
Over the past few years, to the normal processing of materials such as PE in various densities, cross-linked PE, PP etc. we have joined new types of technologies. For example the three-layer molding (also called Sandwich) consisting of the construction of a triple structure (PE, blowing agent, PE) which guarantees, on one hand, a significant reduction in the weight of the manufactured products and, on the other hand, a consistent increase the stiffness of the piece.
Another activity, complementary to the rotational molding carried out by Euro Tank, is the polyurethane foaming of the products produced through the use of a latest generation plant.
In addition, our production plants are equipped with air amplifiers for the molding of complex parts. The main materials normally processed are: PE in various densities and grades, crosslinked PE, PP etc.
We carry out assemblies (total or partial) on semi-finished products and post-molding operations of any kind. We also carry out post-molding processes and finishes.
